In loving memory of Alastair who sadly passed away on 7th March
Alastair will be affectionately missed by his friends and family. In keeping with Alastair’s love of nature, a service will take place at Mortlake Crematorium, which is set within beautiful gardens and a stones throw from the river Thames.
Details are provided below.
FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral service will be held at 1.20pm on Wednesday 19th April at Mortlake Crematorium
Directions for those who are attending are provided below. Following the service there will be refreshments – we are just waiting for our chosen venue to confirm. It would help if you can please RSVP, to give us an idea of numbers.
The service will be webcast live and details of how to access this are provided below.

FUNERAL SERVICE

Directions:
Turn into Townmead Road off the A205 Mortlake Road. At the mini-roundabout, turn right into Kew Meadow Path. Go through the gates and park in the car park on the left hand side.
The crematorium building will be in front of you, if you walk under the left archway, there is a Waiting Room on the right hand corner and loos are on the left hand side. The ladies are in the small waiting area on the left, the gents doorway is a little further along from this room.
Please note that Mortlake Crematorium falls within the ULEZ charging zone (you can check your vehicle’s compliance status here).
FUNERAL RECEPTION
Refreshments will be serve following the service at The Original Maids of Honour (also known as Newens) in Kew – approx 5 minute drive from Mortlake Crematorium.
Should you require a lift from Mortlake please mention this is in the RSVP. It is approximately a 25 minute walk.
