TRIBUTES
I don’t recall exactly when I first came across Deirdre, but my lasting memories are of her as a powerful intercessor, leading prayer groups effortlessly and with zeal. A true prayer warrior and foot soldier of Christ who now, has joined all the saints who from their labour rest, listening with a smile to the comforting words of her saviour: well done, good and faithful servant. And to David, Jenny, and the entire family, what a legacy!

Deidre’s teaching changed my life. I live in Sweden, and on a holiday to England in 1988 I was born again after praying with my sister Angie Mills. Angie had started attending a teaching group, taught by Deidre who travelled to Virginia Water weekly. I went home with several tape sets, and Angie regularly sent me new ones. On a few visits to England in the years following I attended Deidre’s meetings which were always faith filled and powerful. Thank you Deidre from the bottom of my heart, for giving me the tools of Faith, the power of confessing the Word and the importance of a faith-filled life at such an early stage in my walk. I have continued to live the life you taught us and have taught my children and now my grandchildren. God bless you in your heavenly home ❤️❤️❤️

Deirdre was a striking member of a generation who responded to the call to prayer and intercession. She was spirit filled but also incredibly sensitive and sensible. She could also be very funny but never at anyone’s expense. She and her admirable qualities will be remembered and also missed.

Our sincere prayers are with you and rest of the Family to celebrate the life of Dear Deirdre. Although we never met she was instrumental in ensuring you were part of the historical gathering of cousins where we met and connected in Sri Lanka. Our apologies that we cannot be at the service however we will be in sprit with our thoughts of all of you.
