FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral service will be held at 11am on Tuesday 11th April at St Mary’s Church, Twickenham
Directions for those who are attending are provided below. Following the service, you are invited to join us for a reception at Richmond Yacht Club, Eel Pie Island. Please note that Eel Pie Island is not accessible by car and is reached via a pedestrian bridge a few minutes walk from St. Mary’s church. It would help us enormously with catering if you could click the RSVP link below.

Directions:
St Mary’s Church is located on Church Street in central Twickenham, close to the York House on Arragon Road and Church Lane which leads down to the river from Church Street.
Car parking: Parking is available in the York House (Civic Centre) and Flood Lane car parks. Waitrose car park in Arragon Road is close by, and there is meter parking along Riverside and Water Lane / The Embankment (please note Church Street itself is mostly pedestrianised, so road access is via Arragon Road or Water Lane only).
The roads by the river regularly flood at high tide and the rise in water level can be rapid!

Richmond Yacht Club is located on Eel Pie Island, off Twickenham riverside. Please note that Eel Pie Island is not accessible by car and is reached via a pedestrian bridge a few minutes walk from St. Mary’s church.
Walk down Water Lane, which is on the corner of Church Street and King Street. When you reach the river, you will see a walk bridge across to Eel Pie Island. As you cross over to the island, walk to the end of the path to get to the clubhouse.
Car parking: There is street parking nearby including on Twickenham Embankment, but please note that the roads by the river regularly flood at high tide and the rise in water level can be rapid! The car parking options include:
- Multi-Storey car park in Arragon Road (Waitrose) – no maximum parking hours
- Holly Road Car park – 4 hours max
- York House (Civic Centre) car park
- Flood Lane car park
- Meter parking along Riverside and Water Lane / The Embankment – maximum 4 hours parking
