In loving memory of Gill who sadly passed away on 8th November
Gill’s untimely death is overwhelming for us all. As a family, we wish we were not planning her funeral, but we also want to celebrate Gill’s life and how lucky we were to all be part of her life.
It goes without saying that many people wish to attend Gill’s funeral. It has been a challenge to find a venue with large enough capacity.
There will be a live stream of the service, which will enable you to join if you are unable to attend, which you can access below.
Details of the funeral and reception at The Old Queen’s Head in Penn are provided below.
Places to stay in the immediate locality include Crowne Plaza Gerrards Cross, Premier Inn High Wycombe and Ibis Budget Beaconsfield Services.
Important: Due to capacity planning we do need everyone to RSVP by Friday 24th November
– an option will pop up if it is more than yourself attending to add the other names also. There is also an option if you are unable to attend.
FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Thursday 7th December at Greenacres Chiltern
Gill grew up in Beaconsfield. GreenAcres Chiltern is a beautiful natural burial ground, set within acres of woodland. It is a beautiful, peaceful place for Gill’s service in the Woodland Hall and her ashes will be interred in the woodland at a later date.
Directions for those who are attending are provided below. Please aim to arrive from 12.30pm.
Following the service, you are invited to join us for a reception at The Old Queen’s Head in Penn.
The service will be webcast live and details of how to access this are provided below.
Formal black funeral attire is not necessary.
We will circulate a remembrance book at the service and wake for anyone to share their thoughts in writing if this wish, including material brought on behalf of others.
Important: Due to capacity planning we do need everyone to RSVP by Friday 24th November
– an option will pop up if it is more than yourself attending to add the other names also. There is also an option if you are unable to attend.
PHOTO SHARING
To celebrate Gill’s life and create a tribute, we will share a scrolling, digital photo montage of Gill during the service. We will also print out a selection of photos to be displayed at the wake.

Tips and troubleshooting
We recommend you try logging in to the webcast so you can test that you are able to see and hear it – make sure your speakers are turned on and up.
If when viewing a Live Webcast you can no longer see the video, it’s possible that connection to the crematorium has been lost. Please wait, and this should be restored as quickly as possible.
