TRIBUTES
Dear Kathy,
Its been many years since I last saw you but I have never forgotten how much you were there for me when I was young. I was in your house more than my own and there was a reason for that. I felt comfortable and you listened to me, you were a good friend to me. You were like my second Mum.
Be at peace lovely lady

So sad to hear you had been taken from your 3 boys, but all of us have great memories of your fun loving nature. You always had a smile on your face and enjoyed a laugh and a joke. RIP Kath xx

There are so many wonderful memories of Kathleen (Kath) that I hardly know where to start. She had amazing qualities, but I think what I admired most was her love, care, and devotion to her family of whom she was rightly proud. She was also kind and supportive to me, my family, and friends and we will always remember her with genuine fondness.
Kathleen had a sunny personality and greeted everyone with a warm, beautiful smile. She was great company, always there through thick and thin, and a real tonic for the blues. ‘Never mind, love’, she would say, with a comforting hug. That was Kathleen all over – thoughtful, encouraging, supportive and generous with hugs and shows of affection. Sometimes, we would reminisce about the old days, 60s and 70s music, fashion, and hairstyles – Elvis, the Beatles, the hand-jive, the twist, bouffants, hotpants, psychedelic shoes, and the like. How we laughed!
Kathleen was incredibly stylish, elegant, and accomplished in all she did. She was a fantastic homemaker and a dab hand at decorating – she gave me quite a few tips. She also had a serious side, and I respected her quiet determination to meet life’s challenges head-on. She had great strength and integrity.
Kathleen leaves behind, a wonderful family, Dean, Alan, Glenn, and their families, and we hope they may find some solace from knowing that their grief and deep loss at her passing is shared. She was a dear and much valued friend, and we will always treasure her memory.
Rest in peace, Kath, my precious friend. You will be terribly missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. I remember your mum well as I lived next to her in Douglas House on the Eastwood Estate.
RIP Kathleen
