The funeral service will be held at 11.30am on Thursday 8th December at St Margaret’s Church, Twickenham
Directions for those who are attending are provided below. Following the service, there will be a Committal at Mortlake Crematorium, after which you are invited to join us for a reception in the Russell Suite at Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park. FUNERAL SERVICE - 11.30am
St Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church
130 St Margarets Road
St Margaret’s RC Church is located off the A3004 St Margaret’s Road in St Margaret’s, Twickenham. It is easily accessible from the A316.
- By Bus: The church is on the H37 bus route from Richmond to Hounslow. Get off at the stop called “St. Margaret’s train station”.
- By Train: The church is located directly across the street from St Margaret’s Train station which has direct services to Central London.
- By Car: The church has a car park, however, spaces are limited. Parking spaces may be found along Amyand Park Road, The Barons or Crown Road.
COMMITTAL - 1.20pm
Kew Meadow Path
Turn into Townmead Road off the A205 Mortlake Road. At the mini-roundabout, turn right into Kew Meadow Path. Go through the gates and park in the car park on the left hand side.
The crematorium building will be in front of you, if you walk under the left archway, there is a Waiting Room on the right hand corner and loos are on the left hand side. The ladies are in the small waiting area on the left, the gents doorway is a little further along from this room.
We will be looking out for you and will come to gather you all at the required time.
After the service we will lead you out to one of the small memorial gardens where you can stay and chat for a while.
Please note that Mortlake Crematorium falls within the ULEZ charging zone (you can check your vehicle’s compliance status here).
FUNERAL RECEPTION - from 2pm
Pembroke Lodge is located within Richmond Park close to the Richmond gate entrance, and is a 15 minute car journey from Mortlake Crematorium. There is plenty of free parking. The Russell Suite is on the first floor of the Georgian Wing.
The Park is closed to traffic at dusk (approx from 4pm) so entry and exit thereafter is via Richmond Gate only, which is manned by Pembroke Lodge staff. Due to the deer and other wildlife, please take extreme care whilst driving in the park.

Our sincere sympathy to Carmel, Adrienne, Sharon and Liam on the death of your dear Mum Mary. She was a lovely lady and a good friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
