In loving memory of Steve who sadly passed away on 24th November
As a family, to find ourselves planning Steve’s funeral is a shock, his diagnosis and decline all happened so quickly.
We want to celebrate Steve’s life, but wish for the cremation service to be a private farewell. We are sending you the link to this page, as we’d love for you to join us – and so you can RSVP. There will be a live stream of the service, which will enable you to join if you are unable to attend, which you can access below.
We ask that you do not share this page. In the spring we plan to have a `Celebration of Life` where everyone can join us to remember Steve.
The funeral service will be held at 11am on Wednesday 20th December at Putney Vale Crematorium
Directions are provided below.
Following the service, you are invited to join us for a reception at Cannizaro House.
Formal funeral attire is not necessary – please wear whichever colours you enjoy for celebrating Steve’s life.

Directions:
From A3 when driving towards London: after passing the Kingston turnoff, take the first turn off just before the Asda on the right hand side, which is marked “Portsmouth, Guildford, Kingston and Putney Vale Cemetery”. Turn right to drive under the A3 underpass towards the Asda, at the mini-roundabout go straight across into Stag Lane.
From A3 when driving from London: After you pass the turn off for the A306 to the right, proceed straight on down the hill on Kingston Road (A3). After you pass a Co-op petrol station on the left, take the left turn marked “Putney Vale Cemetery” by the large Asda store. At the mini-roundabout go straight across into Stag Lane.
Public transport: The nearest bus stop is Roehampton Vale Asda served by bus routes 85 and 265 from Putney Bridge Station / Kingston. Please note, it is a 15 minute walk to the crematorium chapel from this stop.
Entering the crematorium grounds: the entrance to the cemetery is not well signposted, look out for the entrance on the left hand side as you drive along Stag Lane – drive straight in and continue right to the end, where you will see the chapel on the right hand side, with parking on the left.
Toilets: are to the left of the chapel building, around the corner- they are signposted

Directions:
Cannizaro House is located in the grounds of Cannizaro Park, approx. 12 minute drive from Putney Vale.
Driving from Putney Vale Crematorium: take the A3 towards London, at the Tibbet’s Corner roundabout, take the 3rd exit signposted Wimbledon & Merton, A219 (Wimbledon Park Side). Drive towards Wimbledon, then take a right turn onto the B281 Cannizaro Road, then right into West Side Common. Cannizaro House will be on your left.
It is also possible to walk from Putney Vale Crematorium across the Common (approx. 30 mins).
