Suky Bhandol
24 July 1970 - 20 September 2019
It has been a tremendous shock to lose Suky at just 49 years old. It was only in the summer that his beloved mother passed away, and it was after his mother’s funeral that Suky had stated wishes for what he would want at his own funeral. Never for one moment did that conversation expect to lead to now, so soon.
It was Suky’s wish that he would want his friends and just immediate family to attend. Anne is sending the link to this webpage to all of Suky’s friends and colleagues.
First and foremost, the funeral is to fulfil Suky’s wish to be a great celebration of his life – with all the people he chatted with, laughed with, worked with, kayaked with, boxed with….
For Anne and Suky’s immediate family, it is not easy to be planning his funeral, but they truly welcome the support of everyone Suky shared his life with, to ensure he has a farewell that is befitting to the life he lived.
Please see below for the funeral details – it would be most helpful if you could confirm if you will be attending or not by clicking the button below to RSVP.

Dress code and in lieu of flowers
Dress code is relaxed – black attire is not essential, Suky would want you to all be as you would like to be.
In lieu of floral tributes, if you would like to make a donation in Suky’s memory we invite you to donate to either of his chosen charities, AgeUK which he always supported and more recently following his mother’s death Diabetes UK.
Suky was meant to have walked the London Bridges Challenge 2019 last Sunday, 29 September. Anne walked it in his honour – the Just Giving page he had originally set up has already raised £2,440.
Another charity we are supporting is Age UK. Both charity links are provided below.
