Alex Cole was an original, a one-off, a much loved friend to many, so we know that lots of you will want to join us in remembering his extraordinary life.
A service will take place at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park, a place that Alex loved. This will be followed by an informal gathering afterwards at the Anglers pub in Teddington.
Due to health and safety regulations, capacity is limited, so we ask that you please respond to the RSVP.

FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday 7th November at Pembroke Lodge, Richmond Park
The Belvedere is a private room on the ground floor of Pembroke Lodge, with open terrace and stunning panoramic views, where the service will take place.
Directions are provided below. There is ample parking and it is easy to catch a taxi from Richmond Station.
Formal funeral attire is not necessary.

PHOTO MEMORIES
You are invited to bring a personal photo of Alex and write a memory on the back. These will be treasured by Alex’s family in years to come.
We will be providing a memory box where these can be placed.

Directions:
Pembroke Lodge is inside Richmond Park, close to the Richmond gate entrance. There is plenty of free parking.
The Belvedere is on the ground floor of the Georgian Wing. It has a separate entrance accessed from the right hand side of the building, however you can also enter through the main entrance and then turn right.
Train / Taxi: Both SW trains and the District Line go to Richmond Station. Taxis are plentiful outside; it is a 10 minute drive from the station to Richmond Park – just ask to be dropped off at Pembroke Lodge.
Toilets: Are signposted and situated between the café and The Belvedere.
Step free access: Please note that there are steps leading down to the side entrance into The Belvedere, step free access is available via the main entrance and turn right to continue into The Belvedere.

Directions:
The Anglers is located at the bottom of Ferry Road near Teddington Lock. The road leads off the Kingston Road A310. There a small car park at the pub, but you can find parking further up Ferry Road by the Landmark or along the main Kingston Road.
